The ADLSAT Role
ADLSAT will serve as the HUB/NOC (network operations center), the brains of the Broadband via Satellite operations. In order to have achieved this goal many crucial steps were taken over the years, which required extensive planning, engineering, and the forging of strategic alliances.
However, for ADLSAT to complete the operation, it will need to undertake and invest in (vis-a-vis its partners) the following initiatives:
- ADLSAT’S elite team of engineers along with the manufacturer with which it will be affiliated to produce the necessary hardware will implement the NOC at its desired location.
- The manufacturer will supply the blueprints of the equipment in order to successfully integrate it between the end-user terminal (dish and modem) and the NOC.
- Transponder space will be purchased on an existing satellite on a scalable basis.
- After NOC engineering has taken place, the ADLSAT NOC will be connected to the available fiber backbone (DS-3), which connects to the U.S.
- R/F equipment (8m Large Antenna) will be connected to the NOC, which transmits and receives signals containing data packets to and from the satellite.
- ADLSAT partnered reseller’s will setup end user dishes (.90m antennas) and modems at customer’s premises, which will connect to their computer.
- Customer accesses Internet, Voice over IP, Video Conferencing, etc. sending data packets from their computer to modem then outbound through the dish to the satellite.
- Satellite sends information of data packets to R/F equipment at our facility, which is processed through the NOC and transmitted back to the customer via the same process.
Coverage and Services
ADLSAT ‘s services will extend to the commercial, corporate, educational and governmental institutions, offering advanced applications such as Voice over IP, VPN (Virtual Private Network), Video Conferencing, and multicasting. Over the next five years ADLSAT will be targeting at least eight untapped countries with its new, robust and innovative technology.
Key Milestones
ADLSAST, along with global partners, have already reached key milestones that have so far removed many of the barriers to entry into this potentially lucrative market.
- The completion of its research and development (R&D) phase that entailed qualifying and selecting suitable vendors for integrating our Network Operations Center (NOC)
- Implementation and testing of a “mini” NOC on our desired Satellite Band/Frequency
- The formation of an Engineering team that will be assigned to operate the facility once the project will have been finalized.
- Identified three possible locations for the placement of our NOC
- Identified and initiated agreements for the modem production along with production of our ADLSAT’s dishes.
